Introduction to SRRC certification

SRRC is a mandatory certification requirement of the National Radio Regulatory Commission. Since June 1, 1999, the Ministry of Information Industry of China has mandated that all radio component products sold and used in China must obtain radio type approval certification.

SRRC certified products (eight categories, 116 subcategories)

1. Public network mobile communication equipment (2G/3G/4G equipment)

2. Special communication equipment (interphone, digital trunking, RFID equipment, etc.)

3. Wireless access devices (Wi-Fi, Bluetooth devices, etc.)

4. Broadcast transmission equipment (broadcast and television, etc.)

Information that SRRC certification applicants need to prepare

Applicant (manufacturer) information

1. Type approval application form;

2. Type approval letter of commitment;

3. Copy of business license;

4. A copy of the handling person’s ID card;

5. The applicant's production capacity, technical strength and quality management system and other materials;

6. Foundry agreement and foundry quality management certificate.

Product information

1. User manual;

2. Technical manual;

3. Circuit schematic diagram;

4. Circuit block diagram;

5. Product label: It must contain information such as manufacturer, model, and model approval code.

SRRC certification process cycle

1. Apply online (provide all application materials)

2. Accepted by the Radio Administration (5 working days must be accepted)

3. Find out the test, pass the test, and send samples

4. The laboratory receives samples and confirms

5. Laboratory test (must be completed in 5-10 working days)

6. Prepare the report and upload it to the Internet

7. Preliminary review by the Radio Administration Bureau

8. Final review by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology

9. Failed to pass the certificate or approval

10. Submit the sales voucher and pay to the laboratory by the Ministry of Industry and Information Technology

If the test fails, the approval is not passed, pay to the laboratory, and resubmit the application (the test fee is paid by the applicant).
