Important notice: explanation on the increase of Bluetooth SIG membership fee and the change of RN validity period

Recently, the board of directors of Bluetooth SIG passed a resolution to increase the relevant fees of all SIG members by about 8.7%, and it is planned to take effect on March 1, 2026. This fee adjustment is mainly used to cope with the increasing service and operating costs and ensure that SIG can continue to provide high-quality resource support and service guarantee for its members.

Bluetooth SIG fees are changed as follows

The validity period of Receipt Number(RN) has changed.

Regular Members（Adopter）: RN purchased will be valid for 6 months from the date of payment, effective September 9, 2025.

Premier（Associate） and Founding Members（Promoter）: RN purchased will be valid for 12 months from the date of payment, effective September 9, 2025.

1. Plan the budget in advance: In combination with the double increase of "annual fee and product certification fee", enterprises need to assess the cost impact in advance and make budget arrangements.

2. Reasonably arrange the purchase of RN: carefully plan the purchase quantity and use time of RN in combination with the product certification cycle to reduce the risk of expiration and avoid cost waste.
