In the changing era of digital technology, the safety standards for audio-visual products (AV) and information technology equipment (ITE) products have gradually changed from passive safety regulations (IEC/EN 60065 & IEC/EN 60950-1) in the past to actively preventing potential Dangerous safety standard IEC/EN 62368-1:2014 (Second Edition). What are the applicable products of 62368-1?

Yes, according to clause 4.1.1 in IEC 62368-1:2014 and IEC 62368-1:2018.

When will IEC 62368-1 CB, EN 62368-1 GS and TUV Mark expire?

The main differences between the 2014 and 2018 editions of IEC 62368-1

1. For products with commonly used communication cables, such as USB or Ethernet (PoE), for DC power supply equipment, additional requirements must comply with IEC 62368-3.

2. There are new requirements for switches and relays that are located in PS3 circuits or used as protection devices.
